Not pursuing cryocooling

Option 1: No cryogenic cooler and using the orbit to stratify the container automatically


Option 2: Have a Heating/Cooling System to purposefully introduce stratification. 

  • Viable if we realize other components might overheat (Onboard computer & thermal)
    • Heating/Cooling Options:
      • Fluid Loop System
      • Cryogenic 
      • Thermoelectric

Things to do:

  • Investigate which heating/cooling system 
  • Choose optimal liquid to replace cryogenics with 
  • Choose sensors + optimal placements to test for stratification for each test
