It is called the AudioScience Microphone, made by Tandberg. It costs about
$2k, so it is pricey, but has great pickup and is easy to integrate, from a
physical point of view. We will need to get an interface box for allowing
easy connection to a PC or consumer-type system, since it has a balanced
mic (XLR) connector rather than the pc-type mini-jack. (If we use a
tandberg VC system, it would connect without the interface.) We could use
a mixer, or a simpler interface, but it will probably put the whole system
at $2200 or so.
