Using plink.exe and TortoiseSVN for Windows
PREREQUISITES
Before you begin, you must have the following:
- You must download and install TortoiseSNV.
Configuring plink.exe for use with TortoiseSVN
Using plink.exe with TortoiseSVN will eliminate the TortoiseSVN irritating username/password prompts.
- Download plink.exe and place it in C:\
- Launch windows explorer, goto C:\ and right click on plink.exe. Select TortoiseSVN->Settings.
From the left hand panel, select Network and in the SSH client: field (bottom right panel) enter C:\plink.exe as shown below:
- Click the OK button and you are done.
