Overview:
- Tom Kiley is organizing a Climate Action Conference in December 2017.
- It will bring together MIT Researchers with various New England state and regional actors – government and NGOs
- The primary goal is to spark collaboration and innovation between these two parties.
- A secondary goal is to allow the MIT researchers work in "packaging" their research – in order to make it accessible to the state/gov/NGO actors – to be equally accessible to a broader set of interested parties. The hope is that this "poster session" would start a broader conversation between the community and MIT researchers.
- Tom also imagines the possibility of using ClimateX to post videos of the event and various speakers afterwards.
Point of alignment:
- The MIT Hive 2.0 Projects space could work as a "poster session" space for the MIT researchers
- The MIT Hive 2.0 Learn space could work as a space to post and share the various videos.
