Welcome to the MIT ABAP/4 Function Module Archive
This document is a guide to available MIT-specific ABAP/4 Function Modules, and is intended for use by ABAP/4 programmers and developers within the MIT community. The re-use of these modules will eliminate the need to create code for which a module already exists, and will also further the standardization of how information is obtained from the database. In the future, as changes are made in how information is stored in the database, the use of function modules will allow easier maintenance of reports and programs since changes made in a few modules will be reflected in all programs which use the modules.
To request clarification of information contained in this document or to suggest content for the description or recommended use of a module, please send mail to abap-rev@mit.edu.
How to use this Archive
This document utilizes frames. At left is a listing of function module groups organized by functional area. Links selected from that list will be displayed in this window. For each link followed, a page will be displayed containing a summary list of available function modules for that area, followed by detailed information about the purpose and use of each module individually. Alternatively, a search form is provided to allow targeted searches for modules that contain specific keywords.
The icon [ ] indicates a cross-referenced function module. The link for a module displaying the cross-reference icon points to a function group different from the group currently displayed. To return to the referring page, simply click your browser's BACK button.
