Written Instructions
Before beginning, ensure you are properly connected to the MIT network.
- Click here to download the driver.
- Navigate to the downloaded folder in your files and open it. Run the .pkg file inside. This will open the driver installer.
- On the Introduction and Read Me pages, click continue. Agree to the Software License Agreement on the License page.
- Do not customize the Installation Type; on this page, click Install. Enter your password when prompted.
- When the installation process has been completed, you may close the installer.
- You may move the installer to the trash after closing it.
- Open your Mac's system settings. Open the Printers & Scanners option (you can find this using the search bar if you are experiencing difficulty). If you are using an older version of MacOS this screen may look slightly different.
- Click Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax... and an Add Printer window will open. Click the globe icon near the top of the window.
- Enter the following string into the Address field: msred-copier.mit.edu
- Click on the Use field to open the dropdown menu. From this menu, choose Select Software...
- In the Printer Software menu, choose KONICA MINOLTA C368 PS and click OK.
- Click OK.
- The printer should now be installed. If problems persist, contact IT personnel at creit@mit.edu.
