Platform/Software Requirements: All mobile smartphones (Android, iPhone, etc.)

Instructions: Visit https://efcplaza.scripts.mit.edu/d2u/ on your mobile phone browser.

  1. As of now, you cannot create accounts or log in, but pressing "login" will simulate logging in by letting you onto the site without an actual username and password.
  2. You also cannot search for a cause since there is only one cause in the database right now (Red Cross). Sharing by email also preliminary and won't actual send a message. Although you can type out a message and press "submit," nothing will actually be submitted.
  3. Similarly, you can specify and amount and donate to a cause or enter billing info, but none of that will be saved in the database and you won't actually be donating any money. Logging into facebook will also simulate logging in by letting you visit the page to post a message to your wall, but our application currently doesn't connect to Facebook yet nor does it post anything onto your wall.

Here is my heuristic evaluation of your prototype

  3. Wiki presentation: clear description of shallow parts.
Fidelity: good: real look and feel, and prototype covers scenarios
panel sizes. However, text and images are often truncated.
Usability: Leanability/Efficienty: startup screen shoulld show something (instructions), or just a message (""you have no cause set for now, pls set one now""). Showing an empty panel might be interepretated as a bug by the user.
Similarly there seems to be enough space on login screen to include a 1 sentence summary of what the site does.
