Categories we can take advantage of as part of our Community of Practice activities:
Category B: Continuing Education – Allows for granting of PDUs for any "By attending relevant educational courses, conferences, seminars or symposiums offered by training organizations NOT registered by PMI. This includes training (or webinar) offered by your employer" - 1 PDU for every hour spent - (I think this can only apply if the course was offered by a training organization)
Category C: Self-Directed Learning – Allows for PDUs for "being coached or mentored by a colleague, coworker or consultant" (I believe this can apply to our participants who joins us at Café Talk) - 1 PDU for every hour spent
Category E: Volunteer Service – Allows for PDU for "Provide mentoring and coaching to a colleague, coworker or consultant" (I believe this can apply to our Project Community team members who mentors and coaches coworkers and each other on Project Management)
Category F: Working as a Professional in Project Management – This applies to anyone who "Works as a Project Manager for a minimum of 6 months within a 12 month period" - you can ear a total of 15 PDUs per cycle for PMP credential holders.
