Week of October 8: I researched UN policies on the regulation of international deep waters. In particular, I focused my research on the FAO Fishing and Aquaculture department- they have some recommended codes of conduct and a few suggestions on how overfishing might be reduced. Their plans are a little bit vague, but perhaps we might be able to incorporate some of the better main ideas in our team's "solution." I added a wiki page entitled: "Current UN Involvement in the Management of International Deep Waters (and fishing)" which contains a breakdown of what I found on the UN site (to save you guys the trouble of ploughing through the information

Week of October 15: I have begun researching the UK's involvement in deep sea fishing as well as its policies concerning that issue. I have also done some more general research on Team 5's topics.
