For generating quarterly reports, our Q1 FY2010 process inspires some process improvements and revamping of the implicit calendar.  The following lays out an approach to start with in Q2 FY2010.

run the production process for all the measures.  Update their own "five quarters with explanations" wiki pages.  Create explanations of year-to-year differences in performance.

run the production process for any measures we're still required to help with.  Share the results immediately with the relevant TL or manager.

 

five days after end of quarter

transcribe the 5 qtrs results from team wikis into the QR production tool.

circulate the draft version of the metrics section with css-leaders, saying "here's what we plan to go with..."
