System / Software Requirements

The prototype is known to work on recent versions of Webkit browsers (Google Chrome, Safari) on Mac OSX.

For "Teleport Me" function to work, the Google Earth Browser Plugin must be installed. (If the plugin is not found, you will be prompted).

Starting the Prototype

The design should display well for a wide range of screen resolutions.

Limitations

• All data (tweet streams, contacts, notification history) is canned
• Cannot teleport to places other than M.I.T.
• In order to use the keyboard controls for first-person "Teleport Me" navigator, the user must first focus the mouse on the map's container by clicking it.
• Video chat is non-functional.
• Text chat is non-functional.
