Hi Nicole,
I'm so glad that you are bringing this forward again!  I think one of the biggest needs right now is to help our selectors evaluate what kind of ebooks it would be useful to pursue for their communities.

1.  How to establish current sentiment in their communities to ebooks (user experiences with our current ebook packages, their current level of acceptance of ebooks for different kinds of reading, how they might use ebooks in their research, what other information management needs that generates, etc.)
2.  Learn about and provide tools for evaluating the ebook options we have available right now so that we can make informed decisions about what to buy

I'm not sure the device questions are completely necessary right now within the research realm - but I could have a wrong assumption about that.  I suspect we can concentrate on the experience of reading an ebook on a computer screen/laptop and that would cover a lot of the research use cases.

Some thoughts for now...

Thanks!
Tracy
