Platform

• Our application is meant to run on Android phones with Android 2.3.3 and up

Setup

• On your phone, go to settings > applications > check the box labeled "Unknown sources"
• Download PackIt.apk onto your phone. http://web.mit.edu/styu/Public/
• Run the "PackIt" application

What works?

Allows:

• Can add a trip
• Can specify the trip name and trip information, such as mode of transportation, duration, ect
• Can add items into the backpack and remove items from the backpack
• Can view packing tips, reminders, and weather
• Can add new items to the shelf

Doesn't allow:

• Does not remember information inbetween item tabs, although all data generated within the tab itself will work as expected
• Does not remember trip information inbetween edits
• Can't delete items
• Can't add more items of the same kind (aka, can't add additional t-shirts if already generated)
• Can't drag items at this time
