Problem Statement

Many college students survive on a very limited source of income that comes either from part-time jobs or whatever allowance their parents give them.  Creating a careful budget to ensure that they have enough money for food, textbooks, and other necessities is a daunting task; keeping one's spending to that budget over the year is even more so.

MoneyManager is a mobile app that allows its users to create budgets and monitor spending.  It is intended for use by college students on a limited budget, and allows them to share their expenses with their parents.  It allows students to input different purchases while on the go, so keeping an eye on what funds they still have available is easy.  The app is designed for easy use by both those who are experienced with mobile apps (students) and those who are not (parents).
