User analysis
- High school students
- Currently applying or considering colleges
- Age: 14-18 (predominantly Juniors and Seniors)
- Students have a wide range of concerns when it comes to college. They want to know about dorm life, greek life, academic programs, diversity, cost, scholarships, campus safety, parting and student clubs.
- College students
- Upperclassman have the insider information that a high school student might want to know about before making a decision to go to a school. These students know from first hand experience what happens at the university that isn’t include in the brochures.
- College admission office and administrators
- College admission offices and administrators might want to what information about their college is out there either to improve their university or university recruiting.
- Parents
- Parents are worried about the cost, reputation and distance of a college. Some families want the school to have a good financial aid program.
Personas
- Karen is 17 years old and a junior in high school. She is an average student. She has taken a few AP classes. She doesn’t know what she wants to do after she graduates but thinks going to college is a good idea. One of her parents went to college.
- Martha is a single parent of a high school senior. She is looking for a college for her son that has a good reputation, affordable and close to home.
- John is a third-year Economics major. He spends his time giving advice to underclassmen and high school students. After three years there, he knows his college well and can help any prospective or incoming student

Clear definition of the users, good persona examples (except one is missing for College Admissions Officers), and clear task analysis. The notion of ratings is a bit vague, since the only people who can provide ratings are people who are already students in the school, which suggests bias. Perhaps ratings could be split into categories based on qualitative satisfaction with class size, teachers, staff, party scene, etc. Domain analysis is missing "view" relationships between User and content, and also a User should be able to post a reply to a Question. Also, there is no evidence in your GR submission that you created your users based on actual interviews/conversations with people, which is a critical part of the design process.
