Definition: ACCORD

ACCORD is a joint effort by the MIT Libraries, MIT OpenCourseWare, the Office of the Dean for Undergraduate Education (DUE) and Information Services and Technology (IS&T).

The core ACCORD group currently consists of Steve Gass (MIT Libraries), Cecilia d'Oliveira (MIT OpenCourseWare), Vijay Kumar (DUE/OEIT), Babi Mitra (DUE/OEIT), and Oliver Thomas (IS&T). The larger group of educational technology service providers and partners, ACCORDiacs, includes about 70 Members from academic and administrative departments across MIT.

ACCORD's mission is to ensure that all academic computing service providers on campus work together in a cohesive and transparent manner to provide faculty and students with seamless and responsive service in the academic computing domain.
