1. How is the font size on the entire site? Is it OK? Too small?
  2. There are several stand-alone pages (accessibility, copyright and privacy, etc) and users can only get to them by linking on hypertext  links in the content or by using the Jump to Links. The pages do not exist in the navigation structure. Is this OK? Can users still find the info?
  3. Can users find physical media standards for output to DVD, CD, etc. Is it OK that they are linked, not part of the navigational structure?
  4. Can a user find where they might go on campus to edit their movie?
  5. Can a user find where to go to find out about recommendations of equipment to buy or sell?

  1. We can review our case studies and glean from them suitable usability tasks.

  2. Molly: I like a scenario-based usability test. We're going to select participants specifically based on their role (several faculty, administrators, staff in projects likely to encounter video) and so should write a script that comes close to matching likely scenarios for them (e.g., "You've just been asked to schedule recording of Mike Collins's visit to campus to finally get recognition as the first man to go 'round the moon alone. Figure out how to do this.") Then we watch them and will hear things as they talk through it that will reveal the answers to the questions you asked above.

    PS: There's no one more awesome than Mike Collins, and I hope one day this really happens!
