The web.xml file provides configuration and deployment information for the Web components that comprise a Web application. This configuration is the same for all our Spring Struts projects so it is set up by the IDD team and does not generally need to be changed.
If your application needs a time out that is different from the default 30 minutes, this is the configuration file that you need to change.
