Steering Committee confirms several directions for MAP systems that IPS is building right now.

  • A continuous-build system based around Bamboo should not integrate, or directly deploy to, every development server in IS&T. This level of integration can wait until the organization has more confidence in this sort of system and ISDA's level of support.
  • For the majority of development teams, code auditing tools should be integrated into the Bamboo build process and included in email reports that Bamboo sends out to technical teams. This is the opposite of the Kerberos team's requirements, which emphasize code auditing as part of the developer's local system and process.
  • Enterprise Service Bus and Messaging services, and the continuous improvement of the web-services hosting environment, are still the most important service to current SAIS projects.
