- Steering committee agrees that the Working Group needs a defined process and standards for web-services development if system is to be opened up to developers across teams.
- Discussion of Axis 2 vs. Xfire prompts discussion of need for formalized criteria for when deviation from SourceLabs "SASH" standard is appropriate.
- Steering Committee members agree with Working Group notion that standardized source control and maven/artifactory work presents most important work.
- Steering Committee requires that the working group compare MAP to Kuali architectural direction for continued evolution of MIT SASH stack. Since the MAP web services environment is experiencing problems, the suggestion is to look at Kuali's SOA architecture first.
