Reference Guides todos

  1. Update list of Standards

    2. Replace irrelevant entries
    3. Add new entries
  2. Update Mappings
    1. [Same as Standards Update]
  3. Update Suggested Readings
    1. [Same as Standards Update]
  4. Redo Glossaries
    1. Add more links
    2. Currently it's just links to other glossaries. I would like to create a glossary on this page, adding terms and definitions
  5. Remove Metadata Advisory Group
    1. Add info about current metadata groups
    2. Add link to public sections of metadata wiki
  6. Redo Projects
    1. This seems to be a place to list goings on at MIT.  The metadata website also has projects, presentations and publications sections. I think we should merge the two and have one place to promote MIT Libraries goings on.Add a list of significant metadata projects outside the MIT Libraries
  7. Figure out if there are any other content areas to add or new content types (video tutorials for example)

New Website Todos

  2. Update presentations, publications and projects (merge with similar reference guide sections, decide where to put the revised sections)
  3. Redo partners, about us, services, and mission sectionsmake more promotionaladd new types of content (video, slides)
  4. Promote other communication streams (twitter, reference guides, what else did we talk about)
  5. Redirect about metadata link to the metadata reference guides
  6. Go find notes from past meetings and find other things that we wanted to do
  7. Redesign the look and feel (get feedback from UX group)
