Gifts received by MonoAcq
Gift materials come to CAMS after a rejection/acceptance decision has been made by a selector and the Gifts staff processes the accepted titles. All material is barcoded, property and location stamped; the yellow gift slip, with location and donor bookplate attached, is retained with the material, which is then run through FastCat. Materials not FastCated are placed on the Wall or designated areas. If there is a large number of volumes, the Associate Head will be notified and the items will be treated as a special project.
