New Developer Onboarding Checklist

  1. Request mit.edu email account
  2. Add email to required distribution lists (svn, Asana, etc..)
  3. Determine the development machine (Mac / PC) to be used
  4. Determine IDE to be used
  5. Set up first certificate  ( steps to follow )
  6. Add required software ( check here )

Example: Kathy added the following to her Mac that had PHPStorm7:

  • CertAid
  • Adium (Jabber)
  • Kerberos Extras
  • VPN (Cisco AnyConnect)
