- If your department can’t fund it, it’s worth checking with central HR to see if you can apply tuition reimbursement to it.
- Tableau Desktop I and II (either individually or the combined accelerated course) + Visual Analytics will give you a very solid foundation for anything you want to do with Tableau and presenting data in general.
- Tableau Prep I will get you started with Tableau’s data cleaning tool. If you’re primarily using the MIT Data Warehouse (DW), this class is a bit more than you’d need. But if you’re spending a lot of time with those random Excel files or CSVs that you then need to connect together or connect with MIT DW data, this class might be useful.
