People and Place Design. The dominant images are the people and place combination, which changes each time the user visits the site. This helps create a sense of freshness. A green arrow is also prominent.

  1. My comments are basically the same as they were for design 2. Love the arrow and balloons, colors and fonts, but found the overall approach on the pages a little too stimulating (smile)

  2. Design 3 likes:
Visually appealing. Very clean top page design.
Like the dynamic pictures scheme at the top of the main page.
The color scheme for "New Employees Orientation" is an improvement over design option 1.
Community box- great idea. Especially like the dynamic contents. Keeps everything fresh. Do like the vertical orientation of "Community".
     "Your MIT/Checklists/Benefits" is very visible.

    Issues:
"Your MIT/Checklists/Benefits" can not be easily expanded should we need to.

  3. Gorgeous! One tiny thing...somehow feel the image at the top should curve around the bullet at left instead of overlapping it, to make the photo a little less blocky. If everybody else likes it as is, count us in. Otherwise, love horizontal nav, although understand limitations. The usability of these designs-this one in particular-seems extraordinary. LOVE the round community box and the bold dotted arrow and the use of the arrow on the lower level pages.

We continue to have reservations about the variation in font sizes within one paragraph. We don't have a problem with there being variation...but the percentage, perhaps, of big text to small and the cut off...maybe better if cut off mid-sentence so your mind continues to read even when it changes size? It's definitely not so much of an issue in 2nd level page B.

Oval Community box also terrific. Love color scheme and clever use of texture, layering throughout. These are not flat pages. They have amazing dimension.
