Additional grants we can look into for extra funding:
MIT Public Service Center
- Grants (can apply anytime): http://web.mit.edu/mitpsc/resources/grants/apply/grantapp.html
- Fellowships
- Internships (deadline is FRIDAY MARCH 20th so that might be too soon. Also I think this is more geared towards INDIVIDUALS, not groups....)
- IDEAS Competition: http://web.mit.edu/ideas/www/index.htm
- We missed the initial proposal date (Mar. 15th), but if we are interested, we must submit a "Letter of Intent" by April 2, 2009, and the final proposal is due April 15, 2009
- I think this is more for "original" ideas though, not something like OLPC which is already its own program....
Sally Whitcher World Travel and Peace Award
- http://www.usahostels.org/swapplication2.php (not sure if this is the official website?)
- Only give out two $500 awards each semester...
