In New England tornadoes are not a problem in every day life. Most people from New England would consider tornados strictly a problem for the Midwest. In 1953 ,however, a massive F4 tornado stuck the city of Worcester, Massachusetts. This powerful tornado killed 94 people, causing over 1000 injuries, and resulting in what would be over $349 million worth of damage when adjusted for inflation.
