Confluence Wiki

A Confluence Wiki space has been created on MIT's Confluence site to provide IARPA, Lincoln and Stealth with a common portal and shared document repository.

How to gain access to the Confluence wiki:

  1. Create an MIT Collaboration Account.

  2. Submit a request for access using the web form below with the same information used to create your MIT Collaboration Account

  3.  An MIT LL staff member will grant you access to the wiki and notify you via email.

  4. Log into Confluence using your Touchstone Collaboration Account

Step 1: Setting up an MIT Collaboration Account

Each non-MIT affiliated user will need to create a MIT Touchstone Collaboration Account in order to access the shared program Wiki space and GitHub code repository.

What is an MIT Touchstone Collaboration Account?

A Touchstone Collaboration Account is an account in MIT's Collaboration Accounts Management System (CAMS), which is a component of MIT Touchstone, MIT's single sign-on and web authentication system.

CAMS allows non-MIT users to register their external email addresses and choose a password, and then use that email/password combination to sign on to MIT systems that use Touchstone and allow external accounts to participate.

Instructions for creating a Touchstone Collaboration Account

http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/display/istcontrib/Creating+a+Touchstone+Collaboration+Account

Once you have created your Touchstone Collaboration Account you can try to log into the MIT Wiki using your account (https://wikis.mit.edu). For more information on logging in using your Touchstone Collaboration Account see the following link:
http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/display/istcontrib/Log+in+using+a+Touchstone+Collaboration+Account

Make sure you choose the Touchstone Collaboration Account as your account provider.

Step 2: Submitting a Request Via Web Form

Submit a request via the following web form using the same information provided to create your MIT Collaboration Account.

Request SPARSE Confluence Access

Step 3: Wait for Email Notification

While your Touchstone Collaboration Account will be available almost immediately, an MIT LL staff member will need to manually add your newly created account to the appropriate permission group authorizing access to the SPARSE wiki.

Step 4: Log Into Confluence Using Your Touchstone Collaboration Account

After you've received an email confirmation that you've been granted access to the SPARSE wiki, you may log into the wiki using your Touchstone Collaboration Account at the following link:

https://wikis.mit.edu/confluence/display/SPARSE

The default account provider for login will probably show up as Use MIT Certificate.  Make sure you choose the Touchstone Collaboration Account as your account provider (see below).

You can also search or browse for the SPARSE space on the Confluence wiki at https://wikis.mit.edu.  The SPARSE space will only be visible if you are logged into Confluence using your Touchstone Collaboration Account.
