You will probably find page 27 of Mark McLean's thesis helpful, as he explains the differences between Alex Oancea and Paul Seidel's conventions: http://math.mit.edu/~mclean/thesis.pdf
I am pretty sure that Viterbo uses the same sign conventions as Alex Oancea (as he was Alex's advisor). But you should probably check this. Also I think that Kai Cieliebak's conventions vary slightly from Alex's, but I am not sure offhand exactly how.
