 How to create Thalia videos

Thalia training videos were created as full-motion videos in Adobe Captivate 3. Customer's can access these videos from the "QUICKSTART" link at the top of the Thalia UI, and from within Thalia's User Help document.

Details:

Tool used to create videos: Adobe Captivate 3
Average time to produce each: 4 hours (action script, full video, no voice over).
First set published: May 2008

Source files (.cp) are kept in the SVN, with all the other Thalia source code, help files, HTML, graphics, etc.
The finished flash videos (.swf) are kept in the SVN in: svn.mit.edu/zest/thalia>website>trunk>quickstarts.  Finished videos are uploaded to the staging platform for proofing. From staging, they are released to the production server. See a member of the AMIT team for the latest release protocol.
