Daily Scrum meetings should occur following Scrum guidelines. All full-time team members should participate and part-time members should participate when available or when requested. Each team member should give approximately a 2 minute update that covers:
i)        What team member did yesterday.
ii)       What team member plans to do today.
iii)      Is anything blocking team member progress, concerns, etc.

  1. Scrum master constantly considers if the planned work is relevant toward the Sprint goal and if team members are on track for established Sprint dates.
  2. Scrum master should update the team on any known issues that may impact the team as a whole (i.e. Other projects that may impact the environment or team productivity).
  3. Scrum master should have the burn down chart available with previous days tasks checked off so the team can see progress and current velocity. If velocity does not meet required level to achieve sprint goals, the team should discuss briefly and determine necessary steps to increase velocity or prepare customer for change in delivery scope (scrum master handles this communication).

  1. Scrum meeting is probably a good place to discuss current production problems / help desk issues once they've been researched.
