Overview

MIT Serials Cataloging is responsible for maintaining authority records for conferences and corporate bodies in the MIT catalog. As a member of CONSER, MIT Libraries have the ability to create new authority records, or edit existing records in the national authority file. As a leading collector of scientific and technological literature, particularly conferences, MIT is well positioned to play an important national role in the creation and maintenance of corporate and conference name authorities.
