MKI X-ray Spectroscopy

(UNDER CONSTRUCTION?)

About...

This wiki is for discussion and exchange of ideas, data, analysis methods, and software related to X-ray Spectroscopy of astrophysical sources.  Of particular interest is high-resolution X-ray spectroscopy with the Chandra X-ray Observatory (CXO) High Energy Transmission Grating Spectrometer (HETG), but we are also involved in research with the Chandra Low Energy Transmission Gratings (LETG), Chandra ACIS imaging spectroscopy, the XMM-Newton Reflection Grating Spectrometer, Suzaku, and XTE, as well as in planning for future instruments on Arcus or Lynx.  the International X-ray Observatory (IXO).  Within MKI, the Chandra X-ray Center (CXC) Group supports data analysis and calibration of the Chandra HETG, LETG, and ACIS instruments.
