Leading Successful Projects
Managing the Gantt chart is only half the battle.
Join us for the third session of the 2007-08 Practicing Management Seminar Series: Leading Successful Projects. Find out what it takes to put a project on the right path from the start and be seen doing it well.
Companies continue to drive more important change through strategic projects than through continuous improvement, and are using these opportunities to identify and develop future leaders in their organizations. The interactive session will go beyond the tasks, interdependencies, and controls of managing projects and address the challenges of securing sponsorship support, resources, and visibility in leading cross-functional, mission-critical projects. Leading Successful Projects will be facilitated by Scott Evrard, Director of Management Development at Liberty Mutual Group in Boston, and supported by MIT Sloan graduates currently employed at Liberty who have first-hand experience successfully leading significant corporate projects.
Leading Successful Projects will be offered on Thursday, October 11th, 5:30-7:30 pm, in E51-395, as part of the praxis@MIT Sloan initiative. To keep the course interactive, space will be limited, so sign up now. Go beyond the Gantt chart - register today.
