Lesson history

In 1995, Stephen Gildea and Linda Resnick wrote the Tech Squares call definitions during Spring 1995. These definitions are heavily based on the Callerlab definitions of the time.

Call lists are edited some between 1995 and 2015, mostly to reflect changes in teaching order (and therefore prevent forward referencing).

In 2015, the calls Star Promenade and First Couple go Right, Next Couple go Left were added to the teaching order. They had been taught in the past, but hadn't been on the list. At the same time, Kevin Chen and Veronica Boyce looked through the call definitions, intending to clarify things. When doing this, they discovered that the previous definitions were derivatives of Callerlab, but weren't being labelled as such. To remedy this, they decided to rewrite all the definitions from scratch, leading to a set of definitions that do not have any copyright restrictions. These new definitions are under a creative commons license.
