Many of the President's responsibilities occur at specific times of the year
- May: Solicit and choose appointed officers
- JuneEarly summer: While the president does not run Amateur night, they should make sure that someone is recruited to organize Amateur night. See How to Run Amateur Night for information on what volunteers will need to do.
- July/August: Confirm that the publicity coordinator is aware of deadlines regarding the FYSM, Midway, and publicity for the fall class
- September: Standing Policy updates
- October: Talk with elected officers, and check whether any wish to be replaced for the spring term. If so, try to find replacements, and hold an election.
