  1. Log into you BlackBerry Internet Services account, if your not already logged in.
  2. In the left pain, click on Email accounts.
  3. Then Click on Set Up Account.
  4. In the Email address field, enter in your full MIT email address (e.g. username@mit.edu).
  5. In the password field, enter in your MIT email/kerberos password. Confirm the password.
  6. Click Next (BIS will attempt to auto-configure the email account, but more settings are needed.)
  7. Click, "I will provide the settings to add this email account."
  8. Click Next.
  9. Choose either personal email account, or work email account. (either one will work)
  10. Under "Internet Service Provider Email (POP/IMAP), Click on "I will provide the settings to add this email account"
  11. Click Next.
  12. User Name: MIT username (not the full email address)
  13. Password: Password should be filled in, if not enter your MIT password.
  14. Email Server: Enter in username.mail.mit.edu
  15. Email Address: Email address should be filled in, if not enter in your MIT email address.
  16. Click Next.
  17. If you have properly enter your MIT email account information, you will receive a pop-up window stating "You have successfully configured access to: username@mit.edu".
  18. Click Ok.
  19. On the left pane, click Service Books.
  20. Click Send Service Books. (Anytime you change your BIS account settings, it good to send this updated information to your device. Sending Service Books to the BlackBerry will update the devices information immediately.)
