  • As of June 13, 2012, Java SE 6 - Java SE Development Kit 6u27 is being used. Therefore, all   All instuctions will be for this kit. It is advised that you check with your team leader to verify which version of Java SE you should download.
  1. Go to the Oracle Java Archive download site.  Scroll down until you reach the Java SE
    section and select Java SE 6.

and select either Maven 2.2.1 (Binary tar.gz) or Maven 2.2.1 (Binary zip).  Select a Mirror and save the downloaded file on your workstation.
