Wiki MarkupThe width of the pedestals in the BSMD have a strong eta dependence and especially since we will be cutting at some factor of the width above the pedestals, this can have quite a strong effect. The model used in this analysis will follow the data for the BSMD eta plane, but will be a constant for the BSMD phi plane. By eye-balling the plot the following values were chosen for the pedestal width BSMDE \[0-49\] -> 2 BSMDE \[50-99\] -> 3 BSMDE \[100-150\] -> 2.5 BSMDE \[151-200\] -> 2.5 BSMDE \[201-250\] -> 3 BSMDE \[251-200\] -> 2image
