Test 1: Mystery Webbing (main parachute reinforcement)

  • Slipped out of clamp at 1400N (drop in graph)
  • Fractured at 1553N (350 lb)

Test 2: Swivel (1500 lb rating)

  • Tubular nylon webbing slipped out of clamp at 7420N (1668 lb)
  • Visible deformation occurred
