Lay the parachute out flat. Gather the shroud lines as best you can. Inspect the canopy for damage and the shroud lines for tangles.

Snake the shroud lines beside the parachute. Do not wrap the parachute in the shroud lines.

Place the parachute in the nomex blanket. Ensure the nomex blanket is properly secured and cannot reef the parachute.

Fold the nomex into a "burrito" around the parachute.
