Process to be used to enter a conceptual, schematic design, or design development estimate into the cost module. Costs entered through this process do not effect the budget module and are for estimate purposes only.

that appear in the corresponding Cost module column. An estimate cannot be submitted for approval. To enter a budget and gain approval use the 3.01 process.
Using these processes the project manager can:
- Upload budget estimates without a sequence of approval steps. Whatever is submitted will appear in the Cost module immediately.
- Ask for input or review of the budget from others by directing them to view the Cost module.
- Repeatedly upload versions of each estimate and replace the previous estimates.
- Attach supporting documentation to an estimate.

In this step the Project Manager has the opportunity to enter a conceptual, schematic design, or design development estimate into the cost module. The information entered here does not impact the Cost Module.
When the Submit action is taken the next step is Finish. The information that has been entered is collected in the Conceptual Estimate, Schematic Design Estimate, and Design Development Estimate of the Cost Module. All columns of the Cost Module should be viewed to see these columns.
