  1. Download an App (there are numerous UDID apps, I'd suggest UDID Tool. Send the UDID to me at ####@mit.edu.

  2. Plug your iPhone or Ipad into your machine and open up iTunes. When iTunes open, navigate to your iPhone or Ipad page where it displays name, capacity, phone number, serial. Click on Serial and it should change to UDID, right click on the UDID, and select Copy Identifier (UDID). Paste it into an email message and send it to ####@mit.edu.

  3. Your UDID should look something like this: 7f6c8dc83d77134b5a3a1c53f1202b395b04482b

    It's very important that this number is complete and correct. Please double-check prior to sending it to me. DO NOT attempt to install iOS 8 beta on your iPhone until I reply back to you confirming I've registered your UDID. 

  4. Important: For the IPad you will also need to send the model number, This is engraved on the back of the iPad in small letters under "iPad". We want to make sure that this is Wi-Fi only or if it includes cellular, which carrier.
