This process involves choosing the new hardware, deploying it to the general use clusters and staff desktops as well as providing appropriate assistance to departments, labs, centers and individuals in dealing with their Athena systems reaching end of life in the current year.

Status

Inventory taking is in progress. We believe we know what the hardware recommendation will be and how many we will probably buy.

• Number of staff systems to renew.
• The number of systems in departments, labs and centers we need to be concerned about.
