245 a-b Make sure the title hasn’t changed.

245 c If authors on 245 are different from item in hand, make notes (500 field) and additional added entries (7xx) as appropriate.

260 a-b Make note (500 field) if imprint has changed.

260 c Fill in latest year of publication in angle brackets if temporary, or close the date range if set is complete.

300 a Fill in all known published volumes if possible.

4xx/830 v Fill in series number for each volume added.

505 1 Fill in distinctive titles of individual volumes if present. Change 505 first indicator to 0 if contents are complete.
