Below are the Exchange ActiveSync scenarios I'd like to test. Please let me know if there are any additional scenarios you think are valuable to test with regards to Exchange and iOS 8.
Initial:
- Exchange Setup Process
Email:
- Send Email, Receive Email
- Create/Send Email with Attachment
- Open email attachment
- Move Message to Exchange subfolder
- Search for Message older then 30 days on Exchange server
- Delete Message
- Flag Message, does the flag sync to and from Exchange
- Read/Unread Message, does the status sync to and from Exchange
Calendar:
- Create Event/Delete Event, does the add and deletion of the event sync to Exchange
- Accept an Event/Decline an Event, does the status sync to Exchange
- Create an Event with Invitees (mobile2 is valid test account to invite)
- Search for event on server
- Do all event shows for the chosen sync window?
- Do all events show on the iPhone that exist in Exchange?
- Change Event notes, does the change reflect in Exchange?
- Set an event alert. Does the alert, alert? Does the alert sync to the event in Exchange?
- Do events that have already been replied to appear as new?
Contacts:
- Do all Exchange contacts sync to iPhone?
- Create a contact, delete a contact, does this sync with Exchange?
- Edit the contacts information, e.g. email, phone number, notes, etc, does it properly sync to and from Exchange?
- Does the Exchange Global Address List work? Can you add to contacts from the GAL?
Reminders:
- Do all reminders sync to and from Exchange?
- Create a new reminder, delete reminder, does it sync with Exchange?
- Does the reminder alert, alert at the proper time?
Notes: (this is a new feature for iOS 8, very highly requested feature by MIT users)
- Do existing Exchange notes properly sync to iOS?
- Do new notes sync to Exchange?
