Each of these processes can be used to enter estimates that appear in the corresponding Cost module column. An estimate cannot be submitted for approval. To enter a budget and gain approval use the 3.01 process.
Using these processes the project manager can:
- Upload budget estimates without a sequence of approval steps. Whatever is submitted will appear in the Cost module immediately.
- Ask for input or review of the budget from others by directing them to view the Cost module.
- Repeatedly upload versions of each estimate and replace the previous estimates.
- Attach supporting documentation to an estimate.
