The FIREHOSE pipeline is currently only being released in tarball form, although we may implement cvs or svn releases in the near future for up-to-the-minute bug fixes.

The package consists of a suite of IDL routines plus some archived calibration files.  After downloading, you can read the installation instructions for information on how to unpack and configure the software.

LATEST RELEASE

v1.0 [beta] - 12 / 08 / 2010 [LINK REMOVED - THIS VERSION IS DEPRICATED]

This is the initial release of firehose.  It contains code to reduce FIRE echelle mode observations only, although longslit will be ported as well in the near future.

The current release is in beta stage only.  Our tests have shown it to be fairly stable and robust to crashing errors.  It does not yet produce perfect sky subtraction in the immediate vicinity of the brightest OH lines, although the quality will be good enough for many applications and will certainly be good enough to judge data quality and signal-to-noise ratio of data sets.
