Table of Contents

Instructions

The purpose of this page is to provide a quick and easily accessible center for asking and answering questions about information on the SRT not found elsewhere on the wiki.

First, read through the Table of Contents at the top of the page to see if your question has already been posted and/or answered. If it hasn't, feel free to Edit this page and post your question as a new Heading 4 under the Outstanding Questions section. Be sure to use the correct Heading size so that your question properly shows up in the Table of Contents. If you are unsure how to use the Editor, check the Creating and Editing Content page.

Once you have posted a question, other users are free to answer it for you. Check back to this page as often as you'd like to see if your question has been answered. If your question remains unanswered for an extended period of time, or you need the information in a more timely manner, it may be preferable to seek answers from more direct sources. If you find the answer yourself, it is encouraged to post it on this page for others who may have the same question in the future.

When answering a question, the first step is to move the question to the Pending Answers section. To do this, select the Heading text and use the cut function. Go to the Pending Answers section and paste the question at the top of the list, so that it shows up at the top of the Pending Answers section in the Table of Contents. Then, under the question heading, in normal Paragraph text, enter your answer to the question. Feel free to include any attachments, tables, or images you feel help to support your answer. It is not necessary to answer all parts of the question, as other users are free to add to this answer as long as it remains in this section. Any information you are able to provide is welcome.

If you find one of your Outstanding Questions has been moved to Pending Answers with an answer below it, read through the answer and decide whether or not it is satisfactory and fully answers the question. If it does, you can then move the entire question and answer to the Answered Questions section, again pasting the entry at the top of the list. If any user feels the topic is relevant enough, it is encouraged to create a new page for the topic under the corresponding category, so that other users may easily find it and add their own input.
