The process to access IS&T resources to further enhance MIT's mission is relatively straight forward.
A half page description of your application, with 20 signatures from the student body with one faculty member as a sponsor will get you on the schedule to leverage IS&T resources for your application. If you need any help developing your idea and furthering MIT's mission IS&T will provide a moderate amount of resources to enable your application.
An example of what we were able to enable for Course Picker is listed below:
For Course Picker it was clear that the faculty sponsor and the MIT students really needed better data. Hear in IS&T we were able to offer that data through the data warehouse so that more current and timely course listings could be automatically updated. This enabled the application to better serve the community in the 21st century.
